By comparing data collected in 2019 and 2022, this analysis identifies trends in the evolution of transition paths toward a first job after the thesis defense. It draws on several variables: the time it takes to find a first job, the nature of that position (academic or non-academic sector, with or without research activities), the perception of the transition, and the main challenges encountered.
This section aims to analyze doctoral supervision practices in the WBF by examining the conditions under which doctoral candidates were supervised, based on data collected from PhD holders.
